Bay & Bay Transfer Receives Top Safety Honors
Alexandria, MN: Bay & Bay Transfer from Rosemount, Minnesota, received first place honors for the Minnesota Trucking Associations (MTA) Fleet Safety Contest. They achieved the best on-road safety record in the following: Truckload Van/Reefer Division Over-the-Road, over 3,000,000 miles.
Bay & Bay Transfer and the other statewide winners were presented the safety awards at the 71st MTA Annual Conference in Alexandria, Minnesota on August 23, 2003.
The safety awards are based on Minnesota mileage and accident statistics. The first place plaques are awarded to the company with the lowest accident frequency ratio in each of the 5 classes of competition. Classes of competition are divided by carrier type and mileage category.
The award program is designed to recognize and encourage safety on the nations highways.
